The PCR test is an FDA (EUA Authorized) NAAT nasal swab test. This test detects genetic material from the virus that causes COVID-19. Testing is done in your car. Your swab is sent to an outside lab for processing with results typically available within 48-72 hours,

The cost for this test is billed to insurance, so there is no out of pocket expense if you have insurance (your insurance will be billed for the visit associated with your test under Beach Family Medical Center.) The cost for this test without insurance in $225.

Rapid Antigen Test (Nasal Swab)

There is no out of pocket cost for this test if you have insurance (your insurance will be billed for the test and visit associated with your test under Dr. Barry Schwartz/ Beach Family Medical Center), and $110 if without insurance.
