- Starting September 20, 2023, we’ve moved our COVID testing indoors to the Huntington Beach Urgent Care at 17822 Beach Blvd #100, Huntington Beach, CA 92647.
- No appointments are necessary – simply walk in, and our team will be there to assist you. You will be attended to by one of our healthcare providers.

Rapid Antigen Test (Nasal Swab)
The Rapid Antigen Test has been made available by FDA under Emergency Use Authorization (EUA). It is a new technology, which gives us the capability to determine if you are carrying the COVID-19 Virus within 15 minutes. This test detects nucleocapsid protein antigens found in the virus that causes COVD-19. We utilize the BD Veritor Rapid Antigen Test developed by Becton Dickinson, and testing is done in your car. The major advantage of this test is that results are available rapidly, within 15 minutes.
As of May 11, 2023, the federal government has concluded the COVID-19 public health emergency. With this development, coverage and cost-sharing policies for COVID-19 testing and treatment have been updated for certain insurances. Going forward, the out-of-pocket cost for COVID-19 testing will align with the member’s standard medical plan benefit, and $110 if without insurance.
Rapid Antibody Test (Fingerstick Blood Test)
The Rapid Antibody Test has been made available by FDA under Emergency Use Authorization (EUA). Antibodies to the COVID-19 virus usually become detectable 1-3 weeks after symptom onset or after vaccination. If antibodies are present, strong evidence suggests that some degree of immunity against future COVID-19 infection has developed. We utilize a test which identifies antibodies to the “spike” protein, which is the protein the body produces in response to all currently available vaccines. A single drop of blood is utilized (fingerstick) and results are available within 15 minutes.

RT-PCR (Reverse Transcriptase Polymerase Chain Reaction) is a method of detecting nucleic acid (in this case RNA, the genetic material of the SARS-CoV-2 virus) in order to determine the presence of virus in a sample. It is the most sensitive and accurate method of detecting the COVID-19 virus. The rapid RT-PCR test uses the same process and achieves the same level of accuracy in approximately 30 minutes, making it ideal for travel. This minimally invasive nasal swab test is done in your car.
The cost for this fully licensed, travel approved Rapid RT-PCR Test is $225.
